2 days National Level Seminar NSMORCP'12



Our Electronics and Communication Engineering Department had organized two days National level Seminar on “Modus-operandi in Research Methodologies, Consultancy and Patent writing” on 25-10-2012 & 26-10-2012. Dr. T.Arun Kumar, Professor, School of Computing science, of VIT university, Vellore was the Chief Guest for the function and he has delivered Inaugural Address. Prof. A. Ezhilvanan, managing trustee of the college presided over the function in the presence of Dr. K. Ramar  Principal of the college and Dr.M.Subadra, Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. Dr.M.Subadra, Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, welcome the gathering. Dr. K. Ramar  in his felicitation address, highlighted the importance of the Research and patent writing. The co-ordinator Ms.J.Bennet Solomi, Assistant professor of ECE Department has delivered chief guest introduction.



Dr. T. ArunKumar, has delivered information about how to do the funded projects which includes proposals for getting funds from various funding agencies in National and International Level.



Prof.A.Venkatasamy, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering  Einstein College of Engineering presented about patent filing to release better product with secret and accurate public description for the invention.




In the Second day of the National Seminar, Dr.R.Dinesh, Technical Manager of HCL Technologies, Bangalore has given detailed information about research and basic ethical behavior to be followed during research. He has also delivered a brief description about consultancy.



Dr. D.S.Guru, Professor, Department of Computer Science Engineering, University of Mysore Karnataka has given information about research methodologies and documentation which was very a interactive and interesting session.



Dr.M.Subadra, HoD of ECE Department, Einstein College of Engineering has explained the details about the ways to be followed to write and publish the journals.



Dr.Vivekanantha, Pandichery University has delivered the valedictory address. The Certificates were distributed to the participants. The co-ordinator Ms.R.Queen, Assistant professor of ECE Department proposed the vote of thanks.

3 days hands-on Training program on MATLAB and its Engineering Applications



The three days MATLAB program has been conducted from 12.10.2012 to 14.10.2012 for the Final year ECE students. Mr.S.Mahesh Anand from Scientific Computing Solutions, Chennai has consented as the Chief Guest and conducted the training on the above mentioned days from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. 


The Inaugural Function was headed by our Chairman Prof. A.Amuthavanan and our Principal Dr.K.Ramar delivered the Inaugural address. The HoD of our department Dr.M.Subadra and the program coordinator Mr.K.Balamurugan presided over the function. The Training Program came to the end on 14.10.2012 with the valedictory function.


National Level Technical Symposium – ESOTERIC’12


Einstein Legends Association for Communication Engineers (ELACE) organized a one day National Level Technical Symposium on the topic “ESOTERIC-12” (A Riddle of Electronics) on 22nd September 2012. The chief guest and Resource person, Dr.A.Sivanantha Raja of Alagappa Chettiyar College of Engineering and Technology, Karaikudi, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, highlighted the effects of radiation in urban areas. All the faculty members and the students of the department organized the symposium in a grand manner. Prof.A.Ezhilvanan, Managing Trustee of the college presided over the function in the eminent presence of Dr.K.Ramar, Principal of the college.



The Symposium includes the events like Paper Presentation and Quiz Competition.50 Students were participated in the paper presentation. The best paper has been selected and given reward and certificate. For Quiz Competition 10 batches were participated and best batch got reward & certificate. Similar like several students from various colleges have participated in Ad-zap. 



Inauguration of ELACE



The inauguration of association activities (ELACE) of our ECE department for the academic year 2012-2013 commenced on 03-08-2012. Mr.A.Ezhilvanan, Managing Trustee of our college, presided over the function in the presence of Dr.K.Ramar, Principal of our college. Mr.V.Kathireshakumaar  Deputy General Manager of EMERSON Industrial Automation, Chennai was the chief guest for the function.
Ms.S.Priyadharshini, greeted the gathering in her welcome address. Mr.C.Karthikayen, Co-ordinator of students association introduced the members of students association. Dr.M.Subadra, Head of Electronics and Communication Engineering department executed the Oath proceeding and the members of students association took the Oath. In her oration of ELACE, she briefed the development and achievements of students association which laid a platform for the student’s career growth. Ms.V.R.Parvathy, president of students association listed out the association activities for the academic year 2012-2013.
Mr.A.Ezhilvanan in his felicitation address, emphasized that the students should improve their knowledge and should develop soft skills in order to become a good engineer. Dr.K.Ramar in his speech projected the importance of soft skills for placement. Besides he said that the students have to develop the communication skill which is very important in overcoming campus placement.
Mr.C.NirmalJebadurai, Treasurer of students association introduced the Chief Guest. Mr.V.Kathireshakumaar in his address insisted the students that they have to concentrate more on the rationale of electronic devices and also insisted the students to be equipped to face the present competitive industrial job scenario.
The academic toppers from final year and third year were awarded. Ms.T.Kiragapushpam and Mr.D.Selvamani of final year got the first prize. Ms.A.Ponselvi and Ms.V.Vijayashanthi of final year got the second prize. Ms.S.AnushiyaPriya and Ms.C.Rodrix of third got the first prize. Ms.P.Rajalakshmi and Ms.P.Yashotha Krishnan Bala of third year got the second prize.
Ms.V.Vijayashanthi, secretary of students association proposed the vote of thanks. Under the guidance of Dr.M.Subadra, HoD/ECE, Mr.C.Karthikeyan, the association Chief co-ordinator, staff members of ECE department and students arranged the function in grand manner.
